Over the years WMR Competition Performance has been proud to sponsor many top riders at the amateur level as well as building race bikes and providing race support for Team Costa Rica at the Motocross De Nations in Budds Creek Maryland.

One of our newest Team riders is Daniel McCullon of West Palm Beach Fl. Daniel is a great kid and shows lots of promise in his future. Not only is he fast and full of natural talent but he is happy ,personable and a friend to everyone he meets. WMR is proud to support such a great young athlete.

To apply to WMR for support just send us your resume through  www.Sponsorhouse.com. This is a great service that you really should check out. We  accept Sponsor house applications at any time of the year. After we receive your resume you could be contacted by our support director to determine what level of support you may receive. Not all applications are accepted, we are looking for the rider that will best represent our products and services by competing and winning at the national level. But don't be discouraged we have a good eye for talent and if you have it, we could give you a try. Most riders will receive great discounts on motor and suspension modifications, plus access to new products available thru our shop or on line with a preferred status. You may even be chosen to help us test new products that are being developed. There are always "T"-shirts, hats and various promotional items throughout the year. You can always call or E-mail us with set-up questions or updates on your racing. It is no secret that the better your results the better your level of support can become, there is no limit to the amount of support you could get from WMR if you have what it takes, we will give you what you need. You must be very serious about your racing. We look for riders that compete at the top of their classes at home and can achieve  those same results at the big events. Team members must be good students and good citizens, be able to handle themselves in a professional manner at all times, whether they are in the pits or on the microphone, and keep their bikes and race hauler clean and professional at all times. We expect 100% effort from our riders because we give 100% of ourselves to them. Spending so many hours traveling to races throughout the country away from family and the shop can be hard, but we wouldn't have it any other way . We love to race. There is nothing better than watching a young rider achieve their dreams after working  hard all year ,or building the fastest most tricked out  bikes on the track and watching them win.

WE LOVE MOTOCROSS - It's that simple!

Two riders that have risen to the top of Team WMR are Matt Goerke and Shaun Skinner (Right). These two  riders have proven that hard work and dedication does pay off. Both young men started with us when they were on mini bikes. They had what we call the FACTORY RIDE. Their race bikes were built and maintained by WMR. Many prototype components being developed through the race department were used on their bikes. The race bikes were kept at  the shop and delivered to the races in our box van. Each bike and rider had their own mechanic to make sure everything was always ready. The bikes were  kept under the tent at the races so they could be maintained between motos. It was the riders job to rest and prepare for battle physically and mentally, we take care of every thing else. Matt and Shaun are both multi-time amateur national champions and proof that when a rider works with WMR  great things can happen.

Shaun Skinner is now a professional, riding the 2008 season for Butler Brothers Racing, Matt Goerke is a member of the MDK KTM race team and finished the 2007 supercross season in the top ten. He is currently top ten at the outdoor nationals:

Matt Goerke - Currently a Professional, riding for MDK KTM. Matt was a WMR/ American Suzuki rider from 2002 until he turned Pro in 2005.

Matt won the super mini class @ Loretta Lynn's  in 2004 on a WMR prepared Suzuki. This was Suzuki's first ever win in the super mini class.

Look for Matt at the nationals under the Yamaha of Troy tent. WMR is proud to have been part of Matt's career, we wish him the best of luck in the future.

Shaun Skinner - Currently a Professional, riding for BBMX team out of Florida. Shaun was a WMR supported amateur from 2002 until he turned pro in 2006.

In 2003 Shaun won his first championship at Loretta Lynn's in the 125C class as a WMR team rider. The next year he did it again in the 250Bmod class. Just like Matt, Shaun missed a second championship in the 250B stock class by one point. Again the mud played a part but in his final moto. Shawn turned the fastest lap times of the week in any class @ 2:00 flat, he pulled the hole shot and won his final moto with a 25 second lead.

Look for Shaun under the BBMX tent at this years Nationals. Shaun is great rider with lots of heart, stop by and say hello next time you go to a national.
